THEY ARE PARTICULARLY SUITABLE FOR PROCESSING WHEAT, BARLEY, OATS AND MAIZE; HOWEVER, ALSO OTHER FEED CROPS SUCH AS LEGUMES, OILSEEDS, SPICES ETC. MAY BE EFFECTIVELY PROCESSED WITH THESE MACHINES.

The high potential for utilization of roller mills can be seen from the fact that roller mills are used as mills, crumblers, crimpers, etc. not only for diminution of various biological materials, but there are also numerous nonfood applications.

ROmiLL S roller grinders diminish cereals to grind by shearing between two grooved rolls with blades rotating at different speeds. In this case, even the slower roll rotates at a higher speed than crimpers.

ROmiLL M roller crimpers process grains by applying pressure between the almost smooth roll surfaces. Unlike grinders, crimpers are slow-running and the circumferential speed of both their rolls is the same.
