Note

  • Stable parallelity of rollers is characteristic for ROmiLL machines. It ensures the parallel milling gap all over the length of rollers, thereby parallel structure of procceed material. Parallelity ensures patented mechanism which thanks to its stiffness prevents the tilting of axes of rollers from the exact determined location. 
  • Contrary, whether there are used the springs towards to pressing the rollers, it results in oscillation of the roller at work, thereby to the enlarging and shrinking the milling gap between rollers. ROLLER MILLS


For more than hundred years roller mills have been used for processing of cereals for all special and categories of livestock in the North America. They became popular especially as grain crimpers for cattle and horses among European farmers. They are particularly suitable for processing wheat, barley, oats and maize; however other feed crops such as legumes, oilseeds, spices etc. may be effectively processed with these mills. 

The high potential for utilization of roller mills can be seen from the fact that roller mills are used as mills, crumblers, crimpers, etc. and not only for diminution of various biological materials, but there are also numerous nonfood applications.


Grinders

With roller grinding that uses low-speed grain diminution by sheering, lower electric energy consumption is achieved in comparison to high-speed grain splitting in hammer mills. Even though energy savings is reduced with decreasing grain coarseness in direct proportionality, effectiveness of roller grinders is remarkable and purchase costs return relatively rapidly.


ROmiLL S roller grinders diminish cereals to grind by shearing between two grooved rolls with blades rotating at different speeds. In this case, even the slower roll rotates at a higher speed than crimpers.





Crimpers

Similarly to grinding, grains are crimped in the gap between rolls; however by crimping such a high level of disintegration of cereals in not achieved. The purpose of crimping is to trasform grain into consistent flakes. The integrity of these flakes in then significantly influenced by the humidity of processed cereals. 


ROmiLL M roller crimpers process grains by applying pressure between the almost smooth roll surfaces. Unlike grinders, crimpers are slow-running and the circumferential speed of both their rolls is the same.





Used Material for the Production of Rollers

In comparison with the most quality cast-iron, stell or calibrated stell from the other producers, the rollers being used in ROmiLL machines less inclined in the attrition of abrasion of shells, above all through the hard ingredients being involved in unclear feed raw materials. 


High hardness of rollers is achieved by usage of stainless steel of the special quality together with few technological procedures of the h ardening of shells. The excelent parameters of the hardness of rollers are not practically achieved without increasing the fragility of shells. Th erefore above all the machines are equipped with the unique mechanism, so called snap bounce which enables to one of the roller to repell itself if the hard particle gets between the rollers. It prevents the mechanical damage and the life longevity of roller shells increases. In parallel with repelling the rollers the system of lock of the supply of material is activated from the hopper to the rollers, so bi whole grain will fall into already proceed product.
